Greetings fae Kirky, Scotland's capital o'canals,
Where The Forth n' The Clyde came togither as pals.
 
There's braw views o' The Campsies n' a wee Roman Wa',
An' oor toon motto is jist tae 'Ca' canny but ca' awa!'
 
If ye spend a few days here ye canny go wrang,
We've an illustrious history; baith interestin' n' lang.
 
Fae oor Lion Foondry red telephone boxes tae the Fort oan the hill,
There's plenty tae keep ye interested n' gie ye a thrill.
 
It’s a pure brilliant auld toon n’ wan thing is true, 
It’s a place that shud be visited by a stoatir like you!
