So ye’ve bought a New Hoose, and think yer aw posh,
Yer goin’ up in the world; must have plenty a’ dosh.

It’s a braw lookin’ pad wi aw the mod cons,
New blinds fur the windaes, fluffy towels fur yer hauns.

It’s yer ain wee abode, a true miniature palace,
Ye shud be chuffed wi yersel and feelin aw gallus.

So good luck as they say ‘Lang may yer lum reek’,
Noo get the kettle oan sharpish, we’re comin roon fur a peek!
