So the day hiz arrived n’ ye’ve finally retired,
Ye made it tae this point withoot gettin’ fired.
 
Ye wur a model employee, a shinin’ example,
And noo ye kin leave wi’ a pension that’s ample.
 
The world is yer oyster, ye kin dae wit ye like,
Go a cruise, dae the garden, go lang rides oan yer bike.
 
So when yer enjoyin’ lazy days aff wi’ a satisfied smirk,
Jist spare a thought fir us young yins that still huv tae work!
